Previously
well -known as KRUCIFIXION, formed in the eighties but after diverse
changes of members they finally could find a definitive line-up. As
KRUCIFIXION, this line-up recorded 3 demos and participated in several
concerts with national groups as well as foreigners, playing with the
majority of the existing groups in the country. The band’s line-up was
formed by Juan Torres (vocals), Gonzalo Astudillo (guitar), Esteban
Moyano (guitar), Dieter Heideker (bass), and Javier Arce (drums). With
this line-up the change comes, and begins DETHRONER like a renewed
concept. Soon later in 2002, with Dieter Heideker’s leaving, DETHRONER
entered to record three songs ,for a promotional CD,at SADE studios in
Santiago, Chile. After recording this promotional CD the band
experiments some changes in the line-up, Esteban Moyano leaves the
band,who is replaced by Alex Pizarro, besides the band has the luck to
integrate to its rows to one the greatest Chilean guitar players:
Gabriel "Pickblade" Hidalgo (Six Magics) . With this line-up the band
starts a hardworking period when they create the new material for the
long expected Long Play. A year later Gabriel Hidalgo leaves the band
by personal matters and finally Miguel Roa (Antares) is called to take
place in the band. Thus, the band begins to record its first debut
album at SADE studios. The band has had the opportunity to play not
only next to many national bands but also they have been honored of
being show openers for foreigners bands such as: Deicide, Cannibal
Corpse,Vader and Dark Funeral.This year (2007) the band finished the
recording and master of the disc "Bringer Of Desolation", after Javier
Arce (drums) leaves the band ,who was replaced by Marcos "black"
Villarroel (Vardager). Later Marcos leaves the band because of personal
matters and he es replaced by our current drummer Felipe Jimenez. The
LP "Bringer of Desolation" has 10 intense songs and is on sale now by
Rawforce Records.
