I started playing drums in cover bands in the early 90's. Although I wasn't old enough to get into the bars, I spent a couple of years drumming in the local cover band circuit. Later I hooked up with a couple of guys who had a vision of an original band and I loved the idea of writing songs. Even though I was a drummer, I would mess around with other instruments and try to make up stuff. I wrote the song "MUCHACHITA" for the band which became it's signature. The band recorded the song and went on to get signed to a major record label. The band relocated to San Antonio, Texas and did some regional touring. After only a few years, the band was let down. At that time I decided that I had wasted enough time on music and sold all my equipment. I then began my current professional career. (not music related) After a few years I got the bug again and started playing and writing music in my spare time. I am currently recording the demos for a bilingual LP"POR MIS DOS CENTAVOZ"/BY MY TWO CENTS" I am writing, playing all the instruments and singing all the songs with a little help from my friend EDGAR CAMPOS. I've always just been the drummer so we'll see how this turns out. I still do a lot of drum work in and out of town. Backing artists and doing session work, but on a good day when all the planets line up; I get to jam with my friends!!
