From the time she was born, in Shreveport, La., Lynzie has known nothing but music. From her beginnings in small-town beauty pageants, she began singing in front of large audiences at the age of three. But within a few months, Lynzie's family knew it had moved beyond the pageant circuit.At the age of four, she released a record called “Alligator, Alligator.†It was the most requested song on KWKH in Shreveport and other stations across the country. The novelty hit was distributed and played across America and also got airplay in Spain. It was this song that catapulted Lynzie into the limelight of the Ark-La-Tex region.In 1996, she and her family moved to Nashville, Tennessee to further her singing career. It was Nashville that inspired her passion for songwriting. Today she writes (and plays out) as often as possible to hone her skills and prepare for the next step in her career.
