Rude Mood

About Me

Three local guys who happened to meet each other by a common denominator "music" and decided to get together and see what they can bring to the table. Collectively we were able to put our ideas together and write about 13 songs. Regrettably not all of them were recorded, but here's a small sample of what we did.
Since the birth of the band, some members were added and changed (refer to Rude Mood general information), but this is where it all started. Throughout the course of the band, Rude Mood established it's self as a "in your face" all out kick ass jam band with well placed dynamics and improvisation's. This kept the undivided attention of the audience and always craving for more.
Rude Mood was well known and respected in the local Pittsburgh music scene, with a regular Thursday night spot at the Blue Note Cafe (located on the South Side). Rude Mood was also featured at the Carnegie blues festival, Pittsburgh blues festival, and also on the Gateway clipper blues cruise.
Unfortunately, Kevin passed away unexpectedly at the tender age of 27 (well before his time) and is no longer with us, so this site is dedicated to his memory.

Points of Interest:
The steady Thursday night shows (at the Blue Note Cafe) often had several local and national musicians join in on stage, but Chismo Charles & Satch were the most frequent. It was always a blast and very welcomed to all musicians who sat in with us. It would be near impossible to list everyone without missing a name so thanks to all (you know who you are).

Sounds Like: Good stuff
