Glorya

This is my story so far. Born as Gloria Weidum, my serious interest in singing started when I was 13. I entered a talent show hosted by my high school singing a song by Toni Braxton. It was around the same time when I started to play the alto saxophone. I just kept on singing and playing saxophone, until I left the local music school six years later. Then I went to study in The Hague at a college for higher professions. During the whole time attending college I never stopped being involved in music and singing. I entered more local talent shows and really wanted to be noticed somehow. Then came the live-band experiences. I started to work with different groups and bands from rap group Coup deVillz to Tasha's World and later on Gotcha! to the collaboration with Nicotine. I started a live band to support me as a solo artist in 2004 with the main genre being Soul/R&B. Now I am working on acoustic productions with a few musicians that want to continue bringing soulful music mixed with other styles like latin, jazz and funk. Hope to see you around here or there :-D
