The Letters

About Me

Formed in the Summer of 2007 'The Letters' are a four piece outfit from Bradford and try to make music that not only comes from their individual tastes, but reflects the place they call home. Drawing on varied influences and personal tastes – try Big Black bass, Screaming Trees drums mixed with Pale Saints guitar and Beth Orton vocals and you might be somewhere close. The result is something not unlike the indie pioneers of the late 1980’s and having been likened to so-called C86 acts like The Pastels and The Jesus & Mary Chain, 'The Letters' are out to show that it's not just where you’re at, its where you’re from that counts...
