About Me

My life feels like it's always changing, and there are wonderful things happening around every corner! The year is only half way through, and so many exciting things have already happened. I married the smartest & hottest man in the world, whom I adore with all of my heart! We had our dream wedding in Hawaii, which was just perfect. We're so excited to finally have our daughter, Mattilyn Paige here with us! She has made a wonderful addition to our family. I am FINALLY done with my Masters in Social Work, which has been a long road, and an even longer 3 years!!! My family and friends were so supportive, and I couldn't have done without their support. I also work full time as a social worker, and was recently promoted at work! I can't forget my other children...Cooper, our Min Pin, Hurley, our Maltese and Coconut, our gay cat! I'm a member of the first and finest, Alpha Delta Pi and also Sigma Nu Sweetheart. Other than that, my life is pretty busy and I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store!!

My Interests

It seems that lately my only interests is taking care of my little one, Mattilyn!! On my down time, which is rare, I love watch all of my millions of shows on TiVo. I also love to read books, especially the girly kind and anything on babies or pregnancy right now! My husband and I love to travel to new places, and go the river in the summer. I always seem to find time to go shopping, especially now that I need new clothes!! When there is time, I love to hang out with my friends and family.

I'd like to meet:

Those who know me well, know that I would love to meet Nick Lachey and Ryan Seacrest! But I'm always looking for old friends to catch up with and reminisce about the good ole days.

Music:

I love all types of music, literally. But my absolute favorite has to be Jack Johnson, not only is his music amazing, but he's HOT!! I keep outgrowing my IPOD with new music. I literally listen to it all...hip-hop, country, rap, alternative...I like something from every genre.

Movies:

I love any type of scary movie or suspense thriller, it must be the adrenaline ruch! Favorite movie of all time is Stand By Me. Other classics that make the list are La Bamba, Lean on Me, and Dirty Dancing.

Television:

Most of you know that I'm obsessed with Tivo, and for those of you who don't have it....GET IT!! I have something recorded just about everyday of the week. I watch everything from Young and the Restless, to American Idol, Lost, Ghost Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model and Desperate Housewives. I don't have time for it all, but that's why I love TiVo!

Books:

My favorite books are the fun girly books. I love Emily Giffin and Alisa Valdez-Rodriguez. I don't always have time for the fun reading since school seems to get in the way lately, but I love to relax at night by reading a fun book.
