Rogue Folk

About Me

This myspace seeks to connect more of our local musicians and music lovers with the incredible artists that the Rogue brings to Vancouver. The Rogue has a dedicated base of support but we are amazed by how few of the members of the younger music scene are aware of this chance to witness the leading musicians that the Rogue brings to town. The Rogue is by definition eclectic and not every show is for every taste - and this is the main thing to know - the word 'folk' here is simply the common thread between the bands brought to our city by Artistic Director Steve Edge's passion for the highest quality music and sense of the current. We've had the delight of witnessing everything from heavenly Finnish fiddle bands to Californian jambands, legends of the 60's British folk-blues revival to today's leading lights from around the world. It is for both young and old and that is the beauty. This space can't dwell on all the acts that the Rogue brings to town but on those that we feel most aligned to the myspace crowd. Enjoy!- Neil Hammond, East Van. Hide Myspace music player
