Festival 56 is a 6 week professional theater festival located in historical Princeton, Illinois.Each season, Festival 56 assembles (from across the country) a team of the most creative & talented actors living & working in professional theater today.The festival presents a wide spectrum of programming, from free productions of Shakespeare, world premiere musicals, & the masterworks such as Steinbeck, Isben, & Tennesse Williams.Festival 56 is committed to championing the American theater as an artform by creating a home for artists who are its' heart & soul.
