About Phonic Studios
Right in the heart of Dublin's city centre, Phonic Studios is designed to create the perfect atmosphere for making great music. With natural light, comfortable surroundings, great gear and great ears, Phonic lets you concentrate on what's important: the music.

The People
Phonic Studios provide a full production service. The producers at Phonic, Paul Byrne, Derek Cronin and Conor Brady, have recorded and performed with with many well known artists, including many famous names like Sinead O'Connor, Terence Trent D'Arby and the Corrs.

The Space
Phonic Studios has 110 sq metres dedicated to giving you the service you need. The control room is spacious and can accommodate 6 to 10 people easily and comfortably. Genelec and NS10 monitoring and acoustic treatment give the room a great sound for recording and mixing. The live room is suitable for all sorts of recording and can be made "live" or "dead" to your requirements, thanks to a customised baffling sustem. Vocals and drums sound great, and all sorts of instruments can be accommodated. If you need to get away from the music to clear your head, there's the kitchen and chillout room, with a Playstation and always-on wireless internet access.

Equipment
The studio is based around an Apple Mac with Logic Studio 8 and Pro Tools LE 7. Lots of effects and instruments are at your disposal. On the hardware front there is a huge array of mics, preamps, samplers, and synthesisers available to you. There's even an in-house drum kit and a range of percussion instruments. Our studio has wi-fi so you can surf while you work, or connect to our network for file transfer. Every night, your files are automatically transferred to our backup server to preserve your work in case something unforeseen happens!
