Inserts is a free improvisational group that plays expermental fusion and soundscape music. In the 90’s I reformed the group in various configurations and recorded a CD with Rip Schredder (Rick Schrader), titled "Illusion of Rule". All the recordings posted here are spontaneous free improvisations recorded live with no overdubs or any advance discussion about what was to be played. "Illusion of Rule" and a new expanded special edition of the original Inserts "Out of the Box" will be available on CD shortly.
