North Star Amblers

About Me

A mix of original Americana/folk and something more. Upbeat driving music with a bit of bounce and boogie woogie and a strong dose of train track click-clack. The band has come to call this sound "folk-a-billy"…but the labels are up to you.On a typical night, North Star Amblers channel Charile Poole, Cab Calloway, Jim Kweskin, John Hartford and the Who, and also blaze new trails with original material.Be sure to catch one of the Amblers' upcoming shows! Don't see any you can make? Then make it happen!....North Star Amblers would love to play for your next spaghetti dinner, bingo event, stadium concert, bbq tasting, or curling invitational.
