Steve Foresman Band

Steve Foresman has fronted his own band for over 15 years now. During this time he has seen music trends come and go, venues of all sorts disappear as quickly as they appear, even band members turn over at a dizzying rate. Yet, he remains a musical survivor.Blending his unique voice with a command over the guitar that only comes from years of experience, Foresman is now recognized as one of Michiana's most dynamic performers. Whether it be a slow meditation on lost love, lost money (you name it), or a high octane rocker punctuated with a berserk Les Paul solo, Foresman and his band continually wring out the emotion of the songs, rendering them their own.Steve himself has opened shows for such legendary acts as Deep Purple, Heart, and REO Speedwagon - even being asked onstage by the Doobie Brothers to help out on their classic "Listen to the Music". A lesson he's learned from playing with these "big names" is humility. "Whether the groups I've worked with are playing sold out arenas or half-filled theaters, they have acted towards me as true gentlemen."As Foresman and his bandmates put the finishing touches on their next project, they will be playing live shows throughout the upcoming months. The group will be mixing original songs from the Foresman songbook, along with interpretations of artists such as Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and the Beatles.
