Pastor Fred Thomas was born May 4, 1974 in Greenville TX to the late Raymond and Winnie Thomas. Born to a disabled mother,who was told by doctors she would not be able to carry a child full term, she would bring forth a great man of God and be able to enjoy 16 years of his life. Soon after his mothers passing in 1990 Pastor Thomas's father passed away in 1993. Although his parents never heard him preach a message they knew that God had a great purpose for his life.Pastor Thomas would spend most of his childhood in and around the church and it was there he would soon find out that God had gifted him to sing. He could be found from week to week singing at various church programs and functions until 1991 when recording artist Carolyn Traylor would ask him to travel with her. Pastor Thomas traveled the globe with Ms. Traylor many years. After a long tenure with Ms. Traylor, Pastor Thomas would be led to form his own group. The group had only been together a few months and began performing with the likes of the Williams Bros., the Keynotes and many more. The group even appeared on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show which taped at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA. During this period Pastor Thomas would take another leap of faith and began touring with award winning artist and songwriter Greg Oquin. Pastor would then find his passion for the record business. Pastor Thomas went on the work for various record labels until returning home to fulfill the call God had placed in his life.Pastor Thomas began to play for various churches until making his last stop at the Shiloh Church of God in Christ. Pastor Thomas served as the Minister of Music there for more than 3 years.Pastor Fred Thomas currently serves as the Pastor of the New Beginnings Church of God In Christ in Wolfe City TX. Pastor Thomas also serves as the President of the Youth Department with the Sherman District under the leadership of Superintendent R.L. Price.Pastor Thomas is married to the beautiful Desiree.. Wyatt-Thomas and they have one son Au..Mon and one daughter Eliya. Pastor Thomas is the President and founder of Heart to Soul Ministries which donates to various non-profit groups and supports the jail and feed the children ministries.Pastor Thomas is devoted to winning souls to Christ and encouraging the saints to hold to God’s unchanging hand.
