About Me

In 1992 Sheldon began his career in recording arts as an assistant engineer in Vancouver. He later became head engineer at The Factory Studios where he’s worked for the past fourteen years. Working with a vast variety of artists such as Jim Byrnes, Kelly Joe Phelps, Barney Bentall, and Devin Townsend has provided Sheldon with diverse talent. From roots to rock he guarantees a natural and honest sounding recording. He was nominated for Recording Engineer Of The Year at the 2005 Juno awards for his co-engineering on Limblifter’s I/O and again in 2007 for Barney Bentall’s “Gift Horse” and Jenny Whiteley’s “Dear”.

Old Mans Beard, Issa, Without Mercy, and The New Pornographers are some current and recent projects.
