The Electrokings sound is influenced by such “Chicago Blues” greats as Freddie, B.B and Albert King, while also reflecting the style of classic R&B artists like Ray Charles and classic rock artists like Jimi Hendrix.Evan Waller born in Baton Rouge has played guitar for touring acts such as James Peterson, Eric Culberson and Larry Garner.Jim Charles has lived New Orleans since 2003. He has played with Coco Robicheaux and Mike Hood. He plays regularly in many blues/rock cover bands.
