Nekro started as a one man project also known as Degenhard in the late summer of 2007. A few times later Herr Nekro asked to Herr Slaughter of he would join him with his one man project.
First we made some electronic bullshit and after a while there was our first recording: just a simple cover of the famous band Nine inch Nails called "Hurt".
But we both know that this was to simple and with our new influences like music of Nortt or Xasthur. We're decided together to make some music just like that bands. And that was the start of Nekro
