I've been a good cook, a failed crook, a crazed lover, a bad liar and a bitter wedding singer - but then I woke up to myself and realised I was ignoring the fact I just wasn't living at all.
So I stayed out the sun for longer then is good for any guy, drank too much, smoked too much and stopped reading shit an' listening to fools..then one day, a wild eyed cat with a wicked sense of timing slinked into my hide-away and nothing was ever going to be the same again
Maybe it was the fact that this cat was called 'Arthur' I don't know, but I found myself reading Arthur Millers 'Death of a Salesman' and everything changed..
Now Arthur and me are doing great, I started to write on the walls of my mind first, then on anything I could lay my hands on and now my friends I'm happy to say I live everyday to write my way.. because I know that my way is the only way out for me - and come on, we all want a good way out...don't we?
As Arthur always says " Life ain't here for a day or gone in a week - it ain't yester-year or tommorrow, its here and now.."
Okay, so right now the one who likes to think he's 'The Slink' of all things slinkeeeeeeeeeey is lickin' his balls in the hazy Californian sun...
What can I tell you? This cat Arthur (The Slink) knows he's f**ckin' cool man!
