Hello there everyone! Oh god, where to start... From the top I guess... My name is James Gordon Brown. I was born on February 20th, 1951. I am a Scottish Labour Party politician. I was MP for Dunfermline East from 1983 - 2005, then Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath from 2005 following a major revison in the composition of parliamentary constituencies in Scotland. I have served as Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom since May 1997. I am the longest continuously serving Chancellor since Nicholas Vansittart, who was Chancellor 1812-1823. I began my reign as Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in July.
