Kompute Musik Information 2009
Kompute Musik is an independent record label established in 1999 by Matt Nee and friends for the purpose of releasing Chicago style electronic music to the world. Since this time Kompute has released music from some of the most innovative recording artists worldwide, inspired a new generation and reaches every corner of the globe.
Kompute Musik has produced 30+ releases to date featuring artists from the United States, South America and Europe. Highlights include releases from Alexander Robotnick, Bored of Education?, Capri, Dim DJ & DJ Pici, Dirty Criminals, Future Forward, Garbo, HV, Interrobang, Livewire, Matt Nee, Mount Sims, Plastique de Reve, Rayalin3, Scott “Smokin†Silz, Soultek and many more…
In addition to music, Kompute has produced dozens of events ranging from clubs to lofts and warehouses to outdoors. Most Kompute events have occurred in Chicagoland, but Kompute has also created events across the U.S., as well as in Canada and South America. Some past guests include Acid Circus, Alexander Robotnick, Damon Wild, Derek Plaslaiko, Drumcell, Fixmer&McCarthy, Jay Haze, KillMemoryCrash, Mazi, Mount Sims, Paul Johnson, Plastique de Reve, Traxx, Trancid etc. etc.
