The battle will be held the 3rd Thursday in November. Bands are accepted on first come first serve basis. Get in on it now. Minimum ticket sales will be 25 tickets per band to meet the cost of the prize......A professionally recorded 6 track demo. Our producer is just finishing up our album and is ready to go back to work and has given me a price in the range of 300 bucks per songs. Your band needs to be ready to record...HENCE you need 6 originals to record. If you aren't quite ready and win the prize I can prepay the cost of recording and you can arrange to go to the studio at a later date. NO previous winners from other battles will be accepted. I want fresh blood from Tupelo. There will be a compilation CD titled the best of the Mid-South in the near future and the winning band will also get a spot on the lineup for that CD. So let me know if you are interested...remember 25 tickets will not break me even on this but I want to live up to my promise of promoting and helping local music as much as possible. There will only be one battle in Tupelo for this prize so act now to compete.
