About Me

I am half Swedish and about equal parts Norwegian and German. I have been told that I am a very intolerant person. I find that funny, because, although I am very opinionated, I am very quiet!
I have numerous relatives in Sweden. My great-grandfather Sverker Luttropp emigrated from Gothenburg to Boston, Massachusetts to join his older brother Knut in the family dentistry business. Sverker had four brothers and three sisters. They lived in Västra Götaland County and Värmland County. Sverker was born in Norum and his siblings were born in Norum, Naverstad, Dals-Ed and Ljung. If I could find my relatives, I would love to meet them! Hopefully, I have lots and lots of relatives to call "family" since I have none here.
As far back as I can remember, I have wished that I was born as a male into a viking family in the late eighth to twelfth centuries, preferably the tenth. The solitude, closeness to the land, the seafaring life and the perilous adventures captivate every fiber of my being. A short life maybe, but a fulfilled one.
I have always felt very out of place in my environment. I believe that I was born in the wrong place. I need cold, wet, stormy weather; the ocean and its foggy mists; dark days, cold nights; silent forests and northern lights; and lots and lots of ice. I would love to make my home in Sweden/Norway. Hopefully, soon I will be traveling to Iceland and Germany. Alaska is so beautiful, but it isn't European and it doesn't "feel" like home.I used to believe in past lives and thought these feelings stemmed from that. At this point in time, I believe that once one is dead ........that is the end.

Religion/Capitalism
