a CRNW is not a record label, it is a collective of like minded bands and performers hailing from America's great Pacific North West. While varied in approach, each fuses traditional, folk, country, roots music and story telling with any one of the myriad punk rock influences that have steeped contemporary music over the past 4 decades.
Tales of whiskey, travel, and a longing for home that have been told in some form or another for over a hundred years near the banks of the great sea are being reinvented, and those age old feelings rekindled. Look for the semi-annual comp CD's at any of the member band shows and join in the proud tradition of crass roots music.
