Officer Down was formed in winter of 2001. The original line-up was:
Marko: vocals
Jude: guitar
Antti: bass
Raikku: drums
The band released one demo with this line-up during 2002, the demo was called Misoxenia!. Officer Down experienced their first line-up change sometime in 2003, when Almis decided to grab the second mic. And not much later Antti and Jude considered that it was best for the band to change instruments with each other.
A lot of gigs were played and everything was great until November of 2003 Officer Down parted ways with Antti. However a new guitarist was found and so Pete was employed. May of 2004 was the highlight for the band, a european tour with Positive Bastards and Lo Cas Style. But sadly everything good ends in time and so Raikku decided to left the band for personal reasons and therefore the broke up later on...
But for publics request Officer Down decided to do one last (reunion) show in August of 2007. Also there has been rumors that the band is planning to record all of their songs and to do a full-length CD sometime in the near future. So keep your senses clean and stay tuned!
