Raintown

About Me

Raintown, are Paul Bain and Claire McArthur, a singing/song writing duo based out of Glasgow, Scotland. They have a fresh sound that has been blended with a conversational writing style. The down to earth duo said,
““ For us, Raintown really is an expression of all our dreams, aspirations and fears. ".
Paul and Claire have been working together for over 4years and it has been a life changing collaboration which has resulted in a collection of acoustic pop duets and soulful ballads. Raintown has been the realisation of many late night chats and song writing sessions. However their eclectic taste in music and singing styles, have allowed for a melting pot of ideas which have been expressed in their own unique way.
The duo said, .
“There is so much great talent out there, but so many gifted people have been told so many times that they are not good enough, or because they come from a certain part of the City are criticized for having ideas above themselves. Through Raintown we will prove that it is irrelevant where you start out, and as long as you never give up you can achieve your goals.”
