About Me

Originally called “All Else Fails,” the alternative progressive rock band with metal and punk influence based in Pulaski, New York was formed in the spring of 2005 by a group of high school freshmen attending Sandy Creek Central School: Travis Bartlett (vocals), Ethan Claflin (drums), Adam Sternberg (guitar) and Cameron Thibault (guitar). The band made their debut show at the First Annual Sandy Creek Central School Talent Show in 2006 and again in 2007, placing third and first respectively.
Moving forward, the band entered in a Battle of the Bands competition at the Lacona VFW Cable Trail Post 8534 with several other bands. With more intense vocals, enhanced instrumentals, and an arsenal of new songs at their disposal, tAE:F (The Autumn Equinox: Fall) stole the show with another first place win.
Some major changes took place for the tAE:F in late 2007-early 2008. The band began to head in a different direction with their musical development, and along with this was the addition of Mexico High School student Zianna Schmidt as keyboardist. They returned for the last time to the Sandy Creek Central School Talent Show in 2008 with yet another first place win.
Following this show, the band immediately began preparing to get more active in the music industry. The Lacona Field Days on May 29th, 2008 was the next show in which tAE:F played, getting the word spread even further across the area. The show was a tremendous success for the band as far as their independent draw, increase in fan-base throughout all of Oswego county, and the energy of the crowd.
After the high school graduation of Ethan, Cameron, Travis, and Adam, the band played at a small venue, called Funk'N Waffles in Syracuse, New York with many other local bands. The band's name was spread into the Syracuse music scene at this time, creating more opportunities for the members.
Harborfest 2008 in Oswego, New York was a large success for tAE:F. In the Harborfest Battle of the Bands, the band received second place, having played in one of the best known festivals in Central New York.
A few months after Harborfest, Zianna decided to leave the band for personal reasons that were beyond anyone's control. She is greatly missed, but the band continues to play music regardless and is currently looking for another keyboardist to fill Zianna's spot.
At the end of December, tAE:F decided they wanted to add some low-end to their musical armory, and with this came the addtion of Steve Zerphey on bass guitar. They are operating to integrate him into their old songs as well as the new ones that are yet to be released.
Right now the band is actively working to get shows anywhere from Watertown to Oswego and neighboring areas while working with several online promoters. Also, they are currently in the process of creating band merchandise to put on the market while writing new songs and evolving their musical style even further.
