IN LOVING MEMORY -Patricia Ann Bates was born on Feb. 24, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. Her parents would soon move the family to Michigan. Patricia was the eighth of ten children born to David and Almeda Bates. She participated in many activities, earning a bachelor's of science degree while working full time in the field of Law. Patricia lived an active bountiful life, loving music, art and animals the most. She departed this world August 9, 2007 at 10:23am. She leaves to cherish her memory three sisters; Elizabeth, Marcia and Marlene, two brothers; Richard and William, one child; Angela, a grandson, Bradley, a host of neices, nephews, other relatives, friends and a husband, Lawrence Rucker. She is preceded in death by her father David, her mother Almeda and four brothers David Jr., Ted, Bob and Jim.
