Alright...this is gonna be pretty long. I was born on February 24, 1990 in Redondo Beach, California, where I lived until the age of five. My parents then divorced, and I was thrust into the world and its unpredictable nature. For two weeks after the divorce, my mother, two younger brothers and I were forced to live in a hotel for two weeks. It seemed as if poverty and homelessness was about to hit, as my mother had no time to work while taking care of my brothers, at the time ages 3 and 1. It is this short period of time that really shaped me as an individual and how I view the world. Thanks be to god, days from being dead broke my mother was able to borrow enough money from a close friend to start the first few months lease on an apartment in Torrance, and life has since continued to improve. I lived in the apartment until age seven, when my family moved down south to Newport Beach so that we could be closer to my father, whose job was relocated. After a year of unhappy life in Newport, we finally moved to Aliso Viejo. I now live in Phoenix, AZ and will attend Arizona State University this fall. I thank God every day for the blessing he has given me in simply being alive, healthy and financially well. However, I will never forget my past, which is the basis to what helps me write my songs. I hope you enjoy them! One thing I always hate is when people judge my music in any way based on my race. People are people, and should not be restricted to certain things based on the ways they live, the traditions they have, or the color of their skin. By hating on me because of race, it is in fact racist of yourself. I grew up in a life extremely different from a lot of the rich white bigots who call me a "wigger." They have no clue what it is like to have a sense of soul and what it means to truly feel from the heart. They go around driving their fancy cars, living in their mansions. They may THINK they know the game. They may THINK they know the real hip-hop. They have no clue. I hope you will be able to view me openly. As Kanye West said, "Everything I'm not made me everything I am."
