About Me
Thornefiction (pronounced Thorn-eh-fiction) was formed during the summer of 2002 in Staten Island, New York. The band orginally started as a black metal band. After some lineup changes in 2003, however, the band shifted into a melodic death metal band.
With the lineup of Tom Monnick on vocals, Devon De Carlo and Roman Yurchenko on guitars, Rob Dodge on bass, and Mark Poznak on drums, Thornefiction recorded two 4 song demos and played several shows, opening for some of the biggest bands in their genre.
Due to musical differences, the band broke up in 2005, but has since been reformed in 2007.
