Hi. My name is Dariel. I take my "about me" seriously. I've recently realized that I don't know who I am--and I am trying incredibly hard to figure that out. I am jealous of anyone who knows where they are going in life. I have to spend my time working and going to school. I like to spend my time with my girlfriend, working on my car, or taking pictures. If you are a nice sensible person chances are I will like you. If you are fake, if you are an outright asshole, and/or if you live life only to fit in with the crowd: chances are I won't like you. I despise conformity. Too many people are unoriginal and live their lives according to what others think. Fuck propriety. Do what you want to do, as long as it is what you want to do. This concept also explains my philosophy on religion, same-sex marriage, and plenty of other topics. I am not religious—the ideas are outrageously unbelievable. If you find them believable, I respect you just as much as if you didn’t because the reality of it is that neither one of us will ever prove our side. Just don’t try to convert me. The people in our country are ridiculous. Driving a lifted 8mpg truck alone to the local Starbucks to pick up a five dollar cup of coffee—ridiculous—go fuck yourself. This goes to the girls who think they are hot shit as well. I don’t think you are hot shit, and I won’t give you the attention every other guy does. I get annoyed easily, I wish I didn’t. I’m very easily intimidated. When I'm intimidated, I can't be myself. I hate when people make fun of someone. I’m really sensitive and I get jealous easily. I can get upset easily, but I get over it just as quickly. Sometimes I want to drive as far as I can alone, but then I get over whatever made me sad. I never think of the right words to say. I love the feeling I get when I make someone laugh. Despite what you might think, I try my hardest to be a great person. I try to be as nice as possible—I think I'm doing okay. I am not very optimistic about our future. I’m a firm believer that some crazy worldwide changes are going to occur in my lifetime. But meanwhile, I try not to think about it. Life is about people...I think too many people miss that.
