Formed from two separate acts, Heiro & Zypha and TeaZ MC after numerous collaborations, D.A.B are here to speak the truth, bring the funk and create a sound that separates them from the pack. All three had known each other for years, having all spent most or part of their childhood in Mount Gambier SA. After all doing their own thing musically they have decided to join forces and merge the smooth flows of Heiro, the hard edge of TeaZ and the complex beats of Zypha to add a new twist to aussie hip hop. Using live instrumentation in many of his beats Zypha creates the canvass on which TeaZ and Heiro paint their lyrics. With topics ranging from the political to the story- time to the straight out braggadocio, the songs contain a heart and soul that seems to be lacking in a lot of underground hip-hop today. But don--t worry there--s no false bravado here, just the truth and good times.
