About Me

Born and raised in New Orleans. Moved to San Diego back in March of 2002. I got a degree in Electronic Music (don't ask) after taking close to 3 years of business classes b/w NO and SD. I currently own/manage my own urban lifestyle retail store in North Park SD called MESH. It's been quite a journey and sometimes frustrating but for the most part it's fun. Love to travel, make out, dance, go to shows/dj gigs (sometimes in altered states), drinking alcoholic beverages, eat carnitas burrito bowls from chipotle, DP rolls and Ponzu from Ono Sushi, watching Toby's fat ass outrun other dogs at the dog park, white sneakers, and getting the "businessman's special" for lunch...I LOVE THE OUTDOORS...well, actually I love chugging down alcohol in the sun -- that's gotta count for somethin'. Some of my favorite things: People breaking into tears over dumb shit, strollers tipping over with the kids in it...it's even funnier when it's a result of the mom hanging too many shopping bags on the back of the stroller. Other guilty PLeasures include (in no particular order): keeping up with my 2 myspace profiles, celebrity snatch watching on Perez Hilton, "bangin", top ramen, 4:20, KFC bowls (I don't care that they give me headaches), ruff straight porn, and reality TV/TEVO. I have a fear of heights and wide open spaces (agoraphobia) and I HATE wasabi, mayonnaise, mushrooms, and horseraddish. I try not to sweat the small stuff but when I do...Pet peeves include: having to interact with drunk people when I'm sober and people that try and talk to me while I'm on the phone.div Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

My Interests

TRAVEL!!!!!: Most recently 2 trips to Miami for NYE and WMC so I've had my fill of SoBe for a while. Even more recently I hit up Coachella in Palm Springs for my 4th year at the end of April. This summer I'm hoping to make it back to New Orleans to visit family and make a trip to Lake Havasu for some fun in the sun. Other smaller trips in the works: ATL/NC (August) to see best friend and stay at grandparents new place. I went to Spain last July: Pamplona to (attempt to) run with bulls at the Festival de San Fermin, then Barcelona, and finished the week in Ibiza. Workoften takes me to LA or Vegas for markets/trade shows. Other fave cities/places in the States to visit thus far: SF, NYC and the NO (old stomping grounds) but it's so nice to come back to SD to live. MUSIC:djs, live shows, music festivals are even better...anything with an electronic edge ususally works for me; Graphic ART/DESIGN:urban, grafitti, cartoony, and some eastern influence is always a nice touch; Interior Design; Art museums and shows are always fun. Check out Ray at Night the second sat. of every month in North Park SD. It's a great little "art walk" in the North Park neighborhood and it's getting BIGGER every month. I hear MESH has the dopest parties. Love clothes and fashion and just wait until you see how I put all the shit I love together in one spot and make you pay for it.

Television:

Fave tv shows: FLAVOR OF LOVE was great. Now I'm all about I Love NY. I caught the first episode of Dirt and it's been ok thus far. CHARM SCHOOL starts in April and I'm sure it will be amazing! Strangers w/ Candy (cuz there's a little Jerri Blank in all of us), Nip/Tuck, Weeds, The Sopranos (still waiting for the REAL last season next March, American Dad, Cheaters (fuckin' hilarious), Curb Your Enthusiasm, Celebrities Uncensored (I miss you so much), E! True Hollywood Story, It's Good to Be..., The Fabulous Life of..., Arrested Development, the Simpsons, Sex & the City, Just Shoot Me, Drawn Together, Crank Yankers, Family Guy, Celebrity Fit Club (so what? I watch a lot of TV...how do you think I've come so far in life and gotten so smart?...I didn't just wake up this intelligent! Project Runway, any reality shows like Wifeswap that can make a macho man cry is pretty funny to me. One day I hope to give up my TV regimen and enlighten myslef by partaking in random acts of selflessness but unril then....

Books:

At the present moment I've been looking at Amy Sedaris' "I Like You...Hospitality Under the Influence." There's lots of great pictures. Star, US, anything w/ senseless celebrity gossip...As far as other legitimate books: David Sedaris' Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim, Xmas on Ice. But the last book I almost finished was "Jack" which is about General Electric CEO and his rise to the top. Sounds boring but I actually got through about half of it...then work got busy for me.

Heroes:

Anyone who can be successful with little to no talent/schooling.
