Freelance composer. I hold a B.A. in composition in Mexico (National School of Music, 1976-79), and miraculously managed graduate, advanced studies in composition, analysis and theory with Estrada (ENM, 1985-90). I studied piano-design and tuning at the Bösendorfer-House in Vienna (1980-82). I was Conlon Nancarrow’s assistant in Mexico City (1991-94). My music has been premiered in several colonized countries around the word and also in Germany, France, Switzerland, UK and Holland. I am the founder of the Tilt Group and the Interaktion Festival, both in Berlin.THE BODY OF LIGIA
