Each has a certain "X" factor, that it hard to define, but I know it when I hear it. And if we attract New fans and friends we otherwise would not have, it is all the better.
The Pop League is a great showcase for VOCALS and the SONGS. All these unsigned artists have a lot to say and offer to the pop world. Together, I hope that The Pop League draws more attention to us, as an Alliance, and as individuals.

THE CEDARS (London, UK)--Banjo, guitar, bass, drum, voice...this is The Cedars and much more. I kept returning to this band a week or more ago, and realized I really liked this fresh bluegrass influenced sound. American folk and bluegrass has its long roots all the way to Scotland, Ireland, England. Chantal from Scotland brings it back home, along with Jason, Pedro and Stephen. "EXTRICATION ROW" like all their songs, has very appealing vocals surrounding by an earthy authenticity in spades. I understand they put on a great show too.

RADIO SPECTACULAR (Adelaide, Australia)--Phebe and Harry, Harry and Phebe--this is a duo who create wistful songs, that have a quality I can see being perfect for children’s animations. "LITTLE STEVIE" is a colorful example of that. All their songs have combinations of what sound like toy instruments and simple productions with friendly vocals, that make you want to sing along at times. I found them through We Grow Up, another Pop League group from Adelaide. Glad I did!

THE AURORAS (Los Angeles, Ca. USA)---The Auroras are a fantastic collaboration of talented producer/writer/arranger/instrumentalist Jeff, and Lisa, a singer/songwriter/guitar/bass..... Lisa’s sensual, pop, pre-psychedelic vocals makes all the songs radiate with unexpected vocal nuance. While Jeff’s guitar arrangements are a perfect union with Lisa’s voice. "WAITING" is from their underrated, excellent "Starving In Paradise" cd...Go to their site and find out more. Packed with really good songs.

PAUL MOSLEY (London, UK)--Paul is almost in a category all his own. Not pop not rock not ? But what he is, is very talented and has a voice that captures his melodies and lyrics with the nuance of an artist. In THEN I WOKE UP AND IT WAS ALL A DREAM we hear acoustic instruments, violin, harp, and some I don’t know the names of.... but like anyway. This is wholly original and fantastic. His latest album, "Then I Woke Up And It Was All A Dream" is available now thru his site. Bravo!

BEN WATSON (UK)--When you listen to Ben’s voice, you are "there" in his head and heart...."ROSEMARY" is in it’s own category, folk? blues?. A beautiful song, earthy, instrumentally spare, emotionally charged, wise and poetic...Ben is just warming up, folks. Stay tuned!! Visit his site for more!
