Breaking Point

Breaking Point are a 4-piece hard rock/metal band from Bradford in the north of England. We were formed back in summer 2006 but didn't really take it seriously until January 2007. 5 months of solid practice of random covers and some really shitty original work took us to our first gig with massive underground Leeds based band Exoterik and up-and-coming Bradford indieboys Slumhunnies. It took us 'til October 2007 to get out and gigging regularly around the West Yorkshire area. Since then, we haven't looked back! We try to write music which is hard-hitting and heavy but at the same time, melodic and catchy, which we feel is a perfect combination of our personal tastes in music and what we would like to hear every day if we could, and not some of the shite coming out nowadays!
November 2007 saw us head to a studio in Huddersfield to record some of those songs, which have become the demo tracks you see on our page now (which are now despised by us). The turn of the new year saw us really turn the screw on playing live and we have gained some invaluable experience from some awesome gigs and some fucking terrible ones. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger and we continue to go from strength to strength!
We live for playing live at any venue available to us and with any bands willing to play with us. We will never turn down a gig offer and will never cancel without a very good reason.
