PAGANUS DOCTRINA was originally spawned in the early days of 1995 preivously under the moniker INSEPULTO. Quilckly aftter the band decided to change de name to PAGANUS DOCTRINA ("INSEPULTO" WAS JUST A NAME AND NO OFFICIAL RECORDING WAS EVER RELEASED UNDER THAT TITLE! "INSEPULTO" DIDN'T REPRESENT AT ALL WHAT PAGANUS DOCTRINA WAS ABOUT TO BECOME LATER ON BOTH IDEOLOGY & MUSIC! PERIOD!) The same year the band entered C PRODUCCIONES to record their debut demo "Natural Inbio del Paganismo" which gained a quite good reputation in the underground back at those days and most of its distribution was through out tape trading and promo tapes to Zines and labels.
In 1996 Mexican based underground label AMERICAN LINES PRODUCTIONS reissued the demo as a split CD along the Costa Rican band PSEUDOSTRATIFFIED EPITHELIUM and under a different title: "Ascesis al Uno Primigenio". Soon after the first line up split up leaving vocalist Unholy (a.k.a U.Xerxes.H) as the only remaining force for the band. Several attempts to group a whole new line up took place in late 1997 and early 1998 but nothing came from this moves and U.Xerxes.H decided to put to rest the band in 1998.
In 2006 U.Xerxes.H decided to give the band a new try and together with Balpehor from MORBID FUNERAL the two horncrowned demos started to give shape to the new songs. As a result the band entered Occult Studios to record three new songs for a split CD which is out now and which title is "Death Blast From The Center of Hell - A Central American Manifesto of Relentless Armageddon" through Costa Rican OCCULT RECORDS and colaboration with Mexican SATANIC RECORDS.
Months later of the release of "Deathblast..." The band caught the attention from the Austrian based extreme Black Metal label ASHEN PRODUCTIONS which whom the band signed the deal for their debut album tentatively entitled "Omnipotense Aeternae Diabolous". During those days, G.Damaethyan formerly known locally for his drum work for the Costa Rican Black Metal band ALASTOR SANGUINARY EMBRYO and who also played drums for PAGANUS DOCTRINA during 1997-1998, entered again into the cult to handle the lucifer pounding heart of the band. Unfortunately, at the start of 2010 Balpehor H.C decided to leave the band, and more recently Agharoth stop activities as well. In order to replace Balpehor's place, L.Demogorgon (vocalist for the Costa Rican Black Metal band FÖRNOST) entered in the place of Lucifer's Medium to spell His Gospels throught the new songs.
Nowadays, the band again as a trio is gonna enter into the prominent halls of Costa Rican CAVAN STUDIOS, owned by Max Gutierrez (ADVENT OF BEDLAM, ex-DECEMBER'S COLD WINTER) to record its debut album next October 25th, 2010 planned to be released this year as well. Expect a more ritualized song writing yet bearing the wrath of Lucifer himself!
