Miss Fräulein was born in 2001, is a stoner-rock'n'roll band from Cosenza, Italy. In 2003, Aprofessionaldinnerout, their first production, is reviewed by italian magazines like RockSound and Rumore and by dozen of web-zines. In 2004 the band change its line up and welcome Silvio Perri on bass guitar. With him Miss Fräulein record their first album, Tob was my Monkey, with Fabio Magistrali (Afterhours, Six Minute War Madness, Bugo…) as producer. "Tob Was My Monkey" includes ten amazing songs that goes from stoner to noise, metal, '60's psychedelia, american low-fi echoes and apparently raving lyrics.
Of course Miss Fräulein is a genuine live band. They love to go on stage as most as they can. Among band's several gigs it's good to remember their support for Danko Jones in the 2004 italian tour or for bands like Valina, Giorgio Canali, Caparezza, Afterhours, Patrick Wolf at YpsigRock Festival in Castebuono (PA), Cesare Basile and Diaframma at Musica W Festival (PI), Banda Bassotti at San Giuseppe Rock 2006, the peformances at Arezzo Wave Love Festival 2006 as winners of Calabria contest and in Venice at the Heineken Jammin Festival 2007 the same day in wich played Casino Royale, Linkin Park, Killers, My Chemical Romance, Pearl Jam and many others, with A Toys Orchestra and Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti at Giovinazzo Rock and with Zu at FarciSentire Festival.
In 2008 the band played at the italian Rock Tv show “Sala Proveâ€, and their song Mr Savior became the soundtrack for a Heineken Jammin’ Contest commercial by the same television company.
Mr Savior is also on air on Virgin Radio Extreme, Radio Rock and many others around the world (Argentina, France, Germany). Another number from Tob Was My Monkey, Gustavo, is on the Heavy Psych Italian Sounds compilation by Go Down Records and distributed in Europe by dealers such All That Sheavy Store and Kozmic Artifactz.
