About Me

What is a Kelsey Rae?

Im A Rather Silly Chick...

Im lazy, I sleep, Im human. Im Half-Irish, Half-Scandinavian (Norwegian.)I was born Irish Protestant and my dad was wicked into Norse mythology. (hence the strange names.)I converted to Judaism a while ago, I like films, I have feelings, I believe that there was no need for nipple armor on George Clooney's costume when he played Batman. I worked at a many a video store, "A crappy video store", I believe that every time I say that line from Clerks to describe my former employment as a clerk in a video rental store Kevin Smith gets a little richer. I believe that there is a simple beauty in almost everything I do. (And yes I do mean to sort of boast on myself because I believe everyone deserves to stroke their own ego from time to time.) I like Art, movies, and teaching. I was formally enrolled in Art School to become an Art Teacher, now Im enrolled to become a Psychologist of some kind, and it's going better than Art School. Bue I would really, really love to go and run a theatre in the French countryside. I love my family, and friends. I most highly regard and respect people who stay true to themselves and who can think positively because these same people can change the world.Oh, and I can take on 28 swarming little freaks called toddlers if we ever have a toddler apocalypse.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The Beatles, Stone Temple Pilots, Radiohead, Albert Einstein, Ray Bradbury, Zach Braff, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johannsen, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith, Robert Smith, Bob Dylan, Drew Berrymore, The Rolling Stones, Cold War Kids, John Stienbeck, Ralph Steadman, Cookie Monster, Gilda Radiner, Janis Joplin, Paul McCartney, Alberto Vargas, Pablo Picasso, Hunter S. Thompson, William S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Ken Kesey, Charles Bukowski, Communists, Socialists, Nazis (just for kicks), Hippies, and people who can change the world in a positive manner.

Let Us Speak of Pleasant Things

"The making of a great compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do and takes ages longer than it might seem. You gotta kick off with a killer, to grab attention. Then you got to take it up a notch, but you don't wanna blow your wad, so then you got to cool it off a notch. There are a lot of rules. Anyway... I've started to make a tape... in my head... for Laura. Full of stuff she likes. Full of stuff that make her happy. For the first time I can sort of see how that is done."
