Hi Everyone!
So you want to know a little about me??
First the basics...I am married and we have one daughter and four sons. We generally stay close to home except the sixteen year old who I am not sure even lives here anymore! I am not really into sports much but do love attending my son's high school ice hockey games. GO WILDCATS!! I love to read, hang out with the kids and of course take pictures!
So on to photography! I have always loved photos. My family is blessed in that we have photographs going back generations. Being surrounded by photos of my ancestors all of my life led me to have much better knowledge of who I am and the history that has led up to the glory of me (matter of opinion of course)! I hope to pass this knowledge of our past on to my children and theirs after them.
I have always taken pictures but it was only when I inherited my father's camera after his death that I began taking photos in earnest. A couple of years ago I began entering my photographs in the fair and at different venues and began winning. When I won "Best of Show" people began to ask me to do their photos and a photographer was born. I opened my studio this past year and have been overwhelmed by the response. What can I say? I have a great job! I love doing photography and am blessed that it has opened so many doors for me and allowed me to meet so many wonderful people.
I hope that the photographs I take will be passed down for generations to come for what better legacy to leave your family than photographs of the people you were, the places you have lived and those whom you have loved?
I am always so appreciative of those who allow me into their lives to capture those expressions and traits that are already so ingrained in their heart. My goal in photographing your family or event is to capture your memories of those treasured smiles, beautiful faces and precious dimpled hands.
Time is fleeting. I will help you put time in a bottle so that you may open it and see that beautiful baby boy when you are getting ready to attend his graduation or you can view your daughter's toddler photos just before you walk her down the aisle. I will help you capture the time when you fell in love and the time when you were starting a family. I am here to help you remember. Thank you for entrusting me with such a sacred task.
