The Black Velvet Buskers

About Me

"
This is The Black Velvet Buskers in St. Anne's Square in Manchester, you can see us here playing "Jolene" and "Looking Out My Back Door."Check out Cleg's (Banjo player) hair when the wind catches it on the last note of Jolene. It had us laughing so hard a little bit of wee came out.
The Black Velvet Buskers are an amalgamation of several musical projects from around Manchester. After one too many angry phone calls from the land lady and in the absence of proper work, we decided to try our hand at busking and the Black Velvet Buskers are the result.
We can be found playing some of the greatest music ever written around Manchester. We have a healthy collection of Folk, Country, Blues, Bluegrass and general Americana tunes which we showcase at the drop of any hat.
The Black Velvet Buskers are available to book for any of your weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs and any other functions for which you might require top notch entertainment. Send us a message for details.
