BREW PUPS is a social organization that meets once a month to discuss improving the lives of Nashville's animal population. We are working to educate the public, political leaders, and legislators on the importance of county-wide spay/neuter programs, of funding these programs, and the effect animal cruelty has on the animals in our county, as well as the effect that these issues have on our citizens. In 2006, Metro Animal Control euthanized 10,924 animals because there just were not enough homes for them all. To date, we have already far surpassed that number. For more information on BREW PUPS, links to other resources, access to our gallery, current news items and a calendar of events, please visit our website: WWW.BREWPUPS.ORG. Please sign the petition to levy tougher penalties on recent cruelty acts to animals. Go to: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/no-leniency-for-5-youth-who
