I became interested in football at a very young age. My father, Vernell
Brown Sr., attended the University of Florida. I grew up around the game of
football and the University of Florida; therefore, I have always been a
Gator. That is why when the University of Florida offered me a full
athlletic scholarship, it was a no brainer where I was going. My fondest
memory playing college football was performing in front of the 90,000
University of Florida fans. Its great just seeing and knowing how much they love you
because you were a University of Florida football player.
