The purpose of this site is to provide you with information to feed our nation. So, please allow me to have a brief moment of your time to share with you a little information as to how we got where we are today.When we first started Kentucky Harvest in 1987, I never dreamed it would be so successful! And, the only true measurement of our success is how many hungry people we feed each and every day!U.S.A. Harvest evolved out of Kentucky Harvest, and is very different from other charitable organizations because we're not fund-raisers, we're "FOOD-RAISERS!" You see, it's all about the food!Our volunteers pick-up surplus food from restaurants, hospitals and food suppliers and deliver it to missions, soup kitchens and people in need. It's a very simple and passionate concept that people can really relate to: Moving food from people who have too much, to those who have much too little!Our site will be updated on a regular basis with new information to feed our nation. I'd like to meet:

One person can make a differenceâ€¦a HUGE difference! Just look at what kind of difference our Founder has made! And, you can help spread the word and feed our nation by volunteering your time, treasure and/or talent.
CHAPTER LEADERChapter Leaders are asked to assist in organizing and coordinating community-wide food-raising efforts. So, if you've got the passion to lead the fight against hunger in your community, we'd love to speak with you.
FOOD-RAISINGEven if you don't have the available time to lead your local Chapter, you can still make a huge difference! You can help feed the hungry in your community by holding a food drive in your neighborhood, at work, with your local church or any other social organization.
TIME & TALENTIf raising food isn't necessarily your bag, you can assist us in the feeding of the hungry by simply donating some of your time and talent. Everyone has a special talent, so call us and let us know what you do best. I'm sure that we can find a way for you to leverage your skill to eliminate hunger in your town.
MUSICIANSInterested in working with USA Harvest by collecting food at your concerts, with musicians like the Goo Goo Dolls, Hilary Duff and Green Day? It's an awesome way to give back to the communities you're playing in and to give your fans a way to give back. Give us a shout out, we'd love to hear from you.

HOW CAN ONE ORGANIZATION HELPEven if your organization is not a food-related business, it possesses so many ways to provide food for the hungry. All it takes is a little imagination, a little effort, and a little support from Management to make great things happen in your community.
And, the people of your town will recognize your organization as one with caring employees and a strong sense of community pride and heart.
DONATE FOOD As an organization, you can assist U.S.A. Harvest by providing food products that we can deliver to the hungry in your community. Simply call us and tell us what type of food you have, where we need to pick it up, and when you'd like us to be there.
DONATE RESOURCES If you're not in the food industry, you can still help us fight hunger in your community by donating resources. If you can drive, have a truck and/or van that can be used for deliveries, if you have a forklift that we can borrow, or if you have employees who are looking for a way to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you!
PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES Your organization can also gain invaluable Local, Regional, National and/or International exposure via our web site
