..Killer has been playing guitar and singing for fourteen years now. He first started playing music in a band when he was seventeen years of age and when that ran its course he went solo. Writing his own material he played in such venues as Whelan’s, The Sugar Club, Bruxelles, The Parlour Bar, The Legal Eagle, The Vaults, The Temple Bar Music Centre and Radio City. Having completed a Masters Degree and on return from a near death experience in India, Killer decided to take the music more seriously. He put a two hour show together playing music by lots of artists including The Beatles, Elvis, Christy Moore, Johnny Cash, The Dubliners, Oasis, U2, up to date pop tunes and olden day irish ballads. With a mission to explore the venues of Northside Dublin, Killer soon landed gigs in The Cock Tavern in Howth, Oscar Taylors, and Gibneys in Malahide, The Watermill in Raheny, The Pound in Swords, Portmarnock Hotel&Golf Links, Keelings in Donabate and Naomh Mearnóg GAA club in Portmarnock. He has also played abroad in USA, Spain, Thailand and Fuerteventura. His DEMO of original songs was favourably reviewed in Hotpress and he has also been interviewed on FM 104 (with Mike Hogan) Near Fm (twice, most recently Fri 13th June 2008) and Spirit FM; all of which included live performances. Printed media have also been good to Killer. He has had major write ups in The Northside People, The Citywide News and The Fingal Independant. In August 2008 Killer left his native Ireland to play a string of dates around Australia taking in Cairns, Brisbane and Melbourne. In 2009 he is concentrating again on his own music, writing songs and lyrics which echo his experiences of seeing new places and meeting new people. Having just returned to his home town of Dublin after a very successful Australian tour, KILLER is back playing the venues of Dublin. He has just completed a six week residency in the Station House Raheny and plays every Sunday night in Gilbert&Wrights Wine Bar Swords . Catch him while you can.....
