In the sixties, surrounded by loads of diamonds, she made four musical wonder boys from Liverpool fly high in the sky. Years later this charming muse resides downtown Antwerp on the 8th floor of an empty office building. A stunning view over the city amazes her until today. How? She’s more then happy to show you how!
From October 20th Lucy happily invites you to her penthouse. Lucy’s place will be an arts, fashion, music, design, film and delicious food & drinks shrine. To make things run smoothly she called in the assistance of young talents to bring to life the LUCY* pop-up/guerrilla cultural platform. LUCY* is a unique and intriguing concept with reference to Andy Warhol’s iconic “Factory”.
Young and promising Architect, Rodriguez Debal redesigned her penthouse especially for this project. SilverSpoon “Foodmaster”, together with Lucy, created a surprising menu. And M.A.F. (Music Art Forum) is in charge of a daring and rapidly changing cultural program.
What can you expect? Every month a new exhibition from inter (national) post-contemporary and street artists will be on view. DJ’s will take care of the necessary musical flavour. Bands are invited to release their new album at LUCY*. There will also be a full monty music studio available for all your mixes and remixes. Designers will give an insight into the world of fashion. There will be lectures and workshops on design, music, architecture, trends, technology, environment and arts, … Furthermore you’ll be invited to alternative film screenings, a funky museum shop and much more.See you there,
