About Me

Philip Joseph Sgrosso, born September 16, 1985, is the current guitarist for As I Lay Dying. He graduated from Vista High School in Vista, California in 2003, and currently resides in Oceanside, California. Phil co-wrote the albums Shadows Are Security and An Ocean Between Us, as well as recorded on the 2006 retrospective, A Long March. He, along with the band, received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance at the 2008 Grammy's. As I Lay Dying is set to begin their trek for the first half of the 2008 Van's Warped Tour on June 20th.
