Sexual Healing 666

Sexual Healing 666 was formed in the year of our Lord 1955 along the hot sandy banks of the Lake of Burden when The Leacher drove up from Hudson NY in his automobile to meet the drummer Hej. Beneath scorched pines, near plundered feline cremains, The Leacher and Hej began writing songs that sounded like a mix of Chinese Music and the music of their native Central Asia: new wave surf. They viewed themselves as doctors, surgeons or sculptors but were really warped by drugs and unclean thoughts. They called their collaboration Sexual Healing 666. When they began to amplify their sound in an herbivorous attic with electric guitars and shitty drums, they added a thrash element. The music was then "fully formed", "realized." On November 11, 2007, on the way back from an epic set in Kingston NY, The Leacher and Hej were almost killed when their touring vehicle coincided with the abrupt trajectory of a deathwish deer. They later butchered and reanatomized the carcass into a female Homo Sapien Sapien upright bass player. This is the subject of the first issue of "Medicine Show", a new sequential artwork about the origin of Sexual Healing 666. In late November 07, Hej headed to NYC and the Headquarters or Laboratory of Sexual Healing 666 was moved to a tenement in the East Village. It's a long way from the hot Lake of Burden and the fallen beasts of the Northlands, but there will be plenty of negative energy and wildlife from Sexual Healing 666: anywhere, anyhow. Anywhy?
