Kristina Lovise Eriksen

After playing in a band for several years, I decided that it was time to do my own thing... I started out playing the piano when I was six years old. It soon became clear that I preferred to compose my own music. Luckily my parents and my piano teacher encouraged me to do so. I played mostly classical music until I was 12 in addition to singing in different choirs and performing alone, singing or playing the piano. At some point sports (swimming) took over most of my time, but I never lost my interest in music since I can't imagine a life without it. In the nineties I started playing in a progressive rock band called Scheherazade with my brother. After a while the band split up. Instead I started focusing on composing songs and finding the right expression. I made a lot of songs in different genres and learned a lot. In 2004 we had a reunion of the old band, but it seemed that to much had changed and a new band was formed. We're still in business, but that’s another story. This is me, doing my own thing....
