VINTERKRIG

About Me

This is a tribute to a forgotten band.
In March 1997 Vinterkrig from Stockholm recorded the five track demo
"Härskare över stjärnorna och mina drömmar".
The demo was produced by Mikael Hedlund of Hypocrisy at Peter Tägtgren 's The Abyss studio in Ludvika, Sweden. A few days after the recording session followed one last show together with Naglfar in Stockholm.
Soon after the band broke apart. The material never got released.
After Vinterkrig.
Martin Mendez and Martin Lopez (also of Amon Amarth , Fifth to Infinity, Proxima & Requiem Aeternam) continued successfully with Opeth . Rasmus T. now runs his own record label in Stockholm.
Main songwriter Jonas Reslan continued his artistical path starting the band Fifth to Infinity soon after Vinterkrig's dimise. To this day nothing ever got released by Fifth to Infinity - but rumour says it's genius.
Whatever happend to Olle Giesbergen and Lars Erikson the story doesnt tell.
Johanna Sadonis (former Berlin based bands Cryogenic , Dies Ater & Ferox member) is involved in LA based band Informer with Rayshele Teige (former Century Media & Osmose Productions publicist).
Ten years have passed since Vinterkrig's split-up.
It is time to leak what has been hidden.
R.I.P.
