There are artists who live their lives learning how to perform and to interact with the crowd and then there is Matt Davis. A natural born performer and as charismatic and outward from the very first days on earth, Matt is in a unique league of his own. Not only does he captivate the crowd from the moment he enters a room but his music selection and technically sound mixing skills are second to none. There are a few select DJ’s that carry a night with sound driven energy and Matt Davis is included in this elite group.
In love with electronic music from the days of New Order, and late 80's acid house, Matt Davis found his soul. With a musical backround from early adolesent, he began the journy of Djing in the mid nineties. Along the way on perfecting his craft of epic trance sets, he found a deep respect for dance music in general and the freedom it gives us all.
For the past three years, Davis has put his thoughts and time into creating the unique songs that bounce about his head. His hard basslines with enticing melodies drive his complicated and layered dance tracks. This is the sound of human progress.
"Of course we are all influenced by the sounds and music around us. But its taking that particular vibe that is hot at the moment; and sometimes you can't quite put your finger on it, but I feel it and write a song that sounds like we just moved the earth."
